Hello! We are Raquel and Tomás, a Peruvian-Spanish couple, and the founders of La Alpaca Madrileña.
One of our first trips together was to Cusco; it was there and later in the Lima Handicrafts Market where we discovered alpaca blankets: their beauty, their softness and the advantages they offer.
The quality of the alpaca surprised us deeply. We fell in love with its natural warmth, its durability, and above all, the history and craftsmanship behind each garment. And that's when the idea was born to bring these unique products to Madrid, with the mission of sharing what we had discovered with others.
At La Alpaca Madrileña, we offer high-quality products, handcrafted by Peruvian artisans, and we promote the care of alpacas and their positive impact on alpaca-raising communities. Each blanket and garment we offer carries with it not only the softness of alpaca, but also the dedication and care of those who create them.
